Framework Construction was hired to modernize the entrance as well as the lobby area of this multi-family building. The Illuminada building is located on Jasper Avenue. It is just a short walk from the beautiful North Saskatchewan River Valley. This sought-after building has executive condos with panoramic downtown views.
The wood elements featured in the lobby area of the Illuminada were carried thru to the exterior, in order to visually tie the design together.
Framework Construction actualized the blending of new wood, concrete-looking granite, and black metal for the integrated bench. This was also used in the parking area screen at the entrance. LED lighting, inset within the wood feature, is now helping to brighten the entrance. It also creates an improved sense of security and appeal.
The project also incorporated design features in the lobby. This includes modern non-slip marble-like 12″ x 24″ floor tiles, varied ceiling heights with recessed lighting, and state-of-the-art pendant lights. Also included are inset baseboards, and a wood feature. These define the lobby seating areas.
